The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Scaffold Supervisor.

A Scaffold Supervisor coordinates, inspects, and supervises the erection, modification and dismantling of basic and specially designed scaffold structures during a construction process.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Prepare for scaffold erection activities

• Construct and maintain scaffold structures

• Inspect the integrity of scaffold structures

• Supervise and coordinate scaffold construction operations
